Deze entry-level notebook is geschikt voor met name zakelijk of educatief gebruik. Echter, ook het huis-tuin-en-keuken gebruik, wat betreft bijvoorbeeld tekstverwerken en internetten, gaat hem moeiteloos af.
Met een gewicht van slechts ca. 2.5kg (incl. accu) en gebaseerd op de bewezen Centrino/Pentium-M technologie, alsmede (optioneel) Bluetooth (Class II) en Webcam module, zijn alle speerpunten van goed mobiel kunnen werken verenigd in één notebook. Dit voor een lagere prijs dan de gangbare Centrino modellen. Optioneel is de notebook ook leverbaar met een port-replicator, zodat gemakkelijk kan worden gewisseld tussen de desktop-omgeving en het mobiele gebruik.
De notebook is verder uitgerust met een non-widescreen 15" XGA display en geïntegreerde 128MB videokaart en wordt aanvullend geleverd met een DVD±RW Dual Layer DVD-brander en een 4-in-1 Cardreader.
